The first time that I realized that harm that sugar was doing to my bed, was the night I quit.
It was the first day, that I can remember that I went without sweets. No added or refined sugars.
I couldn’t sleep.
I woke up multiple times at night and in the morning, I wasn’t tired.
I wasn’t Tired?
I spent the last years of my life living with tired. I’d fall asleep at work and be miserable when I couldn’t.
It had gotten so bad that my wife asked me to set up an appointment with a doctor, to see if I had mono.
My Friends knew me as “The Sleepy Guy”
I would have to, on vacations, schedule and calendar time to be in the hotel sleeping.
It was all so lame and embarrassing.
So, One day I quit eat or drinking Sugar
Just to try it out.
I become an insomniac. My energy levels IMMEDIATELY went through the roof.
Now, I had a Bad Sugar Weekend. With Halloween and Everything.
So, This week I got off sugar again.
And last night I couldn’t sleep, didn’t want to. And today I am wide eyed and energetic.
