Just passed the one week sugar free mark. It has been fairly easy, I’ve changed my mindset from “sugar is my enemy” to more content, peace and meditation.
My thoughts don’t have to be “I need to avoid sugar at all costs and sugar is the devil and everyone that eats it is loony.” I can be more “sugar is not for me and I will have compassion for anyone that struggles against it.”
I try not to pre-occupy my mind with it. I just don’t find it to be a healthy obsession. I’d prefer to channel my mental energy elsewhere and let this sugar addiction work itself out more naturally.
